Gym Attender


Yep, that's me! I have faithfully gone to the gym everyday (but Sunday) for the last 3 weeks! I am very dedicated until NOW! On Monday, I didn't go to a class, so I decided to wander around the gym and try some new equipment! Well, no harm done on the 1st day, but now, the 3rd day, I cannot even walk! Seriously--I feel like I have been riding a horse for a month because my thighs are on fire! I feel like I don't want to work out for the rest of my life because of the way I feel today, but Regan told me this morning that since I am just starting to exercise daily, that my body is still getting used to it.

Well, if that is true, then I will have to forget the pain and keep on going to the gym like a good girl! It helps though that my kids absolutly LOVE the day care and most times when I get them they don't want to leave! Well, if you have any suggestions of how to make your muscles stop aching, please leave them!!!! Ouch!

I remember when I would start working out after having a baby and taking time off, it was terrible! But your hubby is right, your body is still getting use to it! I take IBprofin to help with the pain :) Good job, I need to get back on track!

Don't give up going to the gym!! When your body starts getting used to you going.. it's the best feeling in the world. You'll be sooo glad you pushed through it. Sit in the hottub lots.. and get massages.. :o)

I'm with you on the exercising thing. I would rather play volleyball for 2 hours, get the same results, and have FUN while I'm doing it. None of this stationary stuff!!!

working out is the best part of my day right now, i do all classes though because it really makes me burn the most calories... 2x/week spinning, step, SET (strength endurance training), and a "boot camp" style class, by the end of the week, i'm spent! I've lost 7 lbs so far this year and i'm not done yet! keep up the great work!

I know.. I know.. Kinda crazy huh? Im so glad you found us! I have been looking at your blog since before we moved and I love it. I started a new blog.. for a couple of reasons but, I am so sad, I haven't been able to upload any pictures or do anything fun with it until we get moved and settled. My computer is in storage at the moment. I sure wish we had gotten the chance to get to know each other better. We loved your family. We just had some great opportunities presented to us and it all just fell into place. We are super excited! Let's keep in touch!!Keep up the good work on the blog.. it's amazing!

Yay girl i'm so proud of you. I'm also on that train of getting fit. After my training session yesterday, I can barley walk. I feel like an old lady when I try to sit down. Help! How do you feel after yours?
