American Family Awards Banquet

Last night, Regan and I went to the Marriot in downtown Salt Lake (this was actually the place Regan and I went after we got married!). It was the American Family Awards Banquet and it was a very nice evening! We got all dressed up, sat by friends, and ate a great dinner and dessert! The best part of the evening though was seeing my husband get up to accept 2 awards! He got an award for getting more than 1,000 policies in just 1 year which was a very honorable award because not a lot of agents are in what the call the 1,000 Club! Then he got an award for making what is called AFLIC which is an award for making a bunch of requirements. For this award, he got a big American Family Ring, and me, the spouse, got a beautful ring as well!

After the awards, they had a Casino Night and we each started out with $1,000 (fake of course) and were able to cash our money in for tickets for the raffle to get a Wii, or to play games with it to increase your chances of more tickets! Of course, me being the conservative one, I cashed my money in for tickets to put them into the raffle for the Wii. Regan, the risk taker, went right to the Rullette Table and played his money until he had gotten a few more tickets! It was a fun night, even though I just watched Regan lose and gain chips all night! Rullette is really just a game of luck-no skill I think!

The whole night was wonderful and it made me so proud of my hard working husband! He does so much to provide for his family and to make his agency the best! Good Job Regan-I love ya!

Congrats to Reagan - that's awesome! I'm so glad that your little baby is okay. Pregnancy can be so stressful with all the worrying that goes on! I hope you are well; it's been so long since I've talked to you. One of these days we'll have to get together.

Andrea,
Don't know if you remember me but I check in on your blog from time to time. Cute fam! Just had to comment on your previous post-I had the exact SAME thing happen to me a few weeks ago so I would have been about as far along as you. I went in and had them check my placenta in the sonogram and it was "partial placenta previa" which is comparable to a low lying placenta. Anyway, that thing moves its way up-just thought I would mention it in case you wantedd to ask your Dr. Congrats on #3!!! :)
