Thank you babycenter.com!

Ever since I had my little Ellie girl {3 1/2 months ago!!} I have been having a really hard time dealing with my post baby body! I don't know if it is just because I have now had 3 babies, and my stomach has been stretched to the limits 3 times or what, but my mid section is just not the same! I read this article on babycenter.com and it made me feel a whole lot better!

How long will it take for my belly to shrink back to normal?
We've all heard stories of new moms whose tummies are tight and flat immediately after giving birth. Although this does happen, it's rare. For most women it takes months to get rid of the "pregnancy pouch" — and sometimes it never goes away.

Patience is key. It took nine months for your abdomen to stretch to accommodate a full-term baby, so it makes sense that it would take that long or longer to tighten back up.

SO-my goal is to look normal when Ellie is 9 months because I had 9 months to put the weight on, now I have 9 months to get it off!!!

Don't you just love baby center? I find a ton of great articles on there almost every time I look. Even if it is on a completely different topic than what I went there for.

Don't stress too much about the post baby pouch. I have just come to terms with it being there. It went away pretty quickly with the first 2, but with Cash it is still "hanging" around. I am almost 10 and 1/2 months out from having him and I still have it. It isn't as big as it was, but I think I am going to have remnants of it for the rest of my life. I think we just have to realize we will never be the same and accept the new body we have because of our little miracles. I still have those days where nothing fits and I just want to cry because I have "nothing to wear." It is so normal!!

I think you are looking mighty fabulous. I couldn't agree with that more though, 9 months...I'm still waiting...Oh, then I just get prego again. I have yet to figure it out. That's why we play basketball right?
