January Happenings

Regan & I at the American Family District Manager 70's Party!
Some of the Young Women & Leaders at Prom Fest supporting our laurel who was a model!
My latest everyday craving: Diet Caffeine Free Coke with Vanilla!

We had 2 days off of school this month, so I took the kids to a really cool place in Ogden called the Treehouse Museum. It's just like a smaller version of the Gateway Children's Museum. We were there for 5 hours and that is after I asked the kids if we could go! They easily could have stayed ALL DAY LONG! I am glad to finally figure out some cool places to take my kids in Davis County!

January has flow by...the beginning of the new year was nice to have Regan home for a few days to play with us. We went to some movies, spent a lot of time with family, played a lot of Wii games together, and Regan took the kids skiing! Once life came back, and we had to go back to reality, I was sad to have it end. I immediatly took the Christmas tree and decorations down-I never thought this would happen, but I actually got sick of them since they were up since the beginning of November! It felt good to have a clean, uncluttered house again.

Riley has been doing SO well in school! He comes home every Friday with 100% on his Spelling Test, his reading has sky rocketed and he is so smart in math!! He is also doing so well with Violin. He finally passed off Suzuki Book 1 and started Book 2 with his violin teacher and has been going so fast! You can tell that he truly loves to play music. he is in the friend phase where all he wants to do with extra time is to play with friends. I finally had to make a rule that we can't play with friends except on Friday and Saturday's. By the time he got home from school, it was 4:00, then we practice the violin for 30 minutes everyday and then do homework and reading. By the time we are done, it is already time for dinner and dark outside!!!

Sunny has told me that she wants to live with her preschool teacher, Teacher Viki. Some days, I think that is alright with me :) She is a funny little girl and keeps me on my toes everyday! Elle is still the sweetest little girl I have ever seen! She follows Sunny and me around all day and eats tons of yogurt and fishy crackers!

It's so good to hear that you're doing well. I've always wanted to go to that Treehouse Museum. When you're ready to go back, give us a call! I will always remember that Andrea's favorite is Diet Vanilla Caffine Free Coke. I'm so glad you're able to soothe your craving right in the comfort of your own home! Don't get carried away with the vanilla! I don't want to see you stumbing around the house with a bottle of vanilla flavoring :)

Love you guys,
Camille
