elle's mishap!

On Sunday, July 3rd, we went to Sundance to hike around as a family. We hiked up to the ampitheater, and Sunny & Elle wanted to play around on the stage. The next thing we know, Elle is screaming and Sunny says that she has a blister. I ran up to her on the stage and immediatly told Regan we needed to go to the ER! Turns out, the stage was so hot because it was painted black that it burned her skin to a 2nd degree burn! I have a picture on my phone, but I will spare you! It was aweful and so painful for this sweet little girl. They had to cut the dead skin off and scrub the burned skin! AHHH--she got her foot wrapped up in a pink bandage and kept on telling Regan and I to pick her up and relocate her whenever she wanted to do something and would say, "I can't walk!" It was super sad, but it healed in a week, so that was good!
