Well, let's just say that I had a rude awakening about the difference between girls and boys yesterday. I taught a violin lesson in the morning, and as said goodbye to the student and shut the door, I ran to the sink and started throwing up a TON! Riley and Sunny saw what was going on, and these are their reactions:
Sunny: My sweet little princess ran to my leg and held on to it saying, "mommy okay? Mommy throwing up? Mommy okay?"
Riley: Riley was in the other room watching me throwing up while shouting to me, "Mom, I want to play with a friend-just call Luke mom!!"
Okay, if that doesn't show the difference between a sensitive little 2 year olf girl and a 4 year old boy who could care less that his 9 month pregnant mother was in some pain and trouble, I don't know what else could!
It's like my mom said yesterday as I was retelling her this story. She said, "Well, just be grateful you have a girl so that you will always have a sensitive one."

awesome story, thanks for sharing. good luck with the survival weeks...it's gotta be rough-but like your Mom said, Sunny will keep things ....well...sunny!
I think it has more to do with individual personality than if they are a boy are girl. Seth is very pragmatic but Joel is more of a charmer and a lot more sensitive, especially concerning me. Anyway, it's good that you have a sensitive child. Every mom needs someone to take their side. :) Oh, and I'm sorry you have been so sick! Hang in there. It won't be long now.
Seriously you are still throwing up??? Totally not fair for you! I have to agree about the boys vs. girls thing. Averie notices when I get my hair cut, when I donn't feel well, when I'm upset. My boys are clueless!! Oh well.
