DIY via Pinterest!

So I have found something that is good & bad all at the same time: PINTEREST! It is good in the fact that I have a way of finding a million ideas {hair, fashion, recipes, crafts, sewing, church ideas, school ideas etc.} and I have a way of storing all of these amazing ideas. The bad part of it is that after seeing all of these amazing ideas, I want to DO them! I don't mean just get them in my mind and dream of the day I will do them...I mean actually DO THEM! So--can you see how it is a good and bad thing now? Another bad thing is, going onto pinterest is super addicting! Once you go there, you want to keep looking to find cute ideas!
So with that said...here are some of the things pinterest has made me do:
1. Saw a buttercream merigne cake I had to make for Elle's birthday!
2. Rosette's & flowers for girls headbows
3. {in the next post} painting doors & walls

*The other items you see on this post are just my made up crafts! I have actually gotten back into the swing of things and gotten my inner crafty out! I love feeling like I can feel inspired and creative!!!
For our school fundraiser, I made this mail box with paper bucket so people can send love letters to family members-this was for an auction-hopefully it sold for a lot!!! The next one is just one of the MANY big letters I have made for people. I was thinking about it, and I figure I have made at least 20 letters for people whether they get married or have babies! I love making these because it is original and something that nobody else will have {except for the 20 other people I have made them for!}

The pictures of our basement is our labor day project! Since we moved in a year and a half ago to our beautiful house, we have not even touched the storage room in the basement! I'm talking you couldn't even step into the room! That's how bad it was. The toy room was a wreck and the outside back garage was disgusting thanks to a certain skunk who sprayed Regan in it when we first moved in! So with all of this craziness around me, I knew that we had to LABOR on Labor day!! Regan worked on the back garage, I worked on the storage room, and the kids worked on the toy room! We ended up being victorious by the end of the day!!!

I am in a scrapbook page kit club and we make 13 of the same layout every 3 months and keep 1, and give them to the other 12 members. That means that every 3 months, I get 13 scrapbook kits and it is amazing! I don't have time to scrapbook anymore, so this is a perfect solution!!! The scrapbook page you see on this post is my September kit!!! I think it ended up super cute!
